Robo-jams are tunes and grooves made using sequencers, looping, programmed midi, drum machines and other techniques - and they're all "robotic" in nature. They're quantized and "on the grid" in a straight tempo, and is as such to be considered as glorified metronomes.

One of the most important tools a drummer (or any musician) have is the metronome - but practicing to an annoying sounding metronome might be a bit boring in the end. Hopefully, using a Robo-jam bashtrack migth give you some of the same benefits, while still being musically inspiring.
